Freedom to explore
Our term time groups run in line with West Sussex County Council term dates* offering weekly groups from two iconic woodlands. We run all year round allowing you the opportunity to explore the wonders of each season.
From the heart of the South Downs National Park, our groups run from private woodlands in Easebourne and Fernhurst; the sites are very different to each other, offering you the choice of two unique experiences.
Groups welcome children aged 12 years & under making these groups ideal for toddlers, preschoolers, home-ed and beyond. We have not set a minimum age as feel that no child is too young to enjoy the great outdoors however, we do advise that children should be walking and steady on their feet to gain the best experience. Our Wild Explorer tickets are suitable for children 18 months plus, children 18 months and under may prefer the unstructured play of the Playful Explorers.
Weekly groups meet Mondays at Easebourne and Fridays at Fernhurst with groups starting at 10am.
With a choice of two ticket options we have something for everyone; from those seeking a perfect outside area to play in to those with a desire to delve deeper into themes with nature based crafts and activities.

Hidden in the woods is a wonderful play area waiting to be discovered. Ride the tractors, dig in the sand, play in the house, make fairy villages and so much more. You are free to explore the area, the themed crafts and activities laid out for you. We will gather mid-morning for warming campfire snacks and story time, with warm tummies you can continue exploring before we gather for our farewell sing-along.
